GIS Vranje
Municipal Geoportal & Geospatial Data Platform
GIS Vranje combines accepted orthophoto/LiDAR, four specialist applications, municipal self-service publishing and continuing MapSoft maintenance, with the public platform operational in September 2026.
From fragmented municipal data to a living geospatial platform
GIS Vranje combines a refreshed orthophoto and LiDAR foundation with specialist web/mobile applications, municipal publishing workflows and long-term technical support. The important result is not only a delivered portal, but an operating model in which the City can continue routine thematic publishing while MapSoft supports, secures and extends the platform.
Two acquisition scales for one citywide spatial baseline
The accepted 2020 delivery separated the dense urban core from the wider non-urban territory: 40 km² at higher resolution and 820 km² at lower resolution. Coverage graphics show the project footprint and realized airborne LiDAR strip pattern.

A browser-based gateway for municipal thematic information
The project established a shared environment for planning, infrastructure and other municipal themes instead of keeping spatial information isolated in separate CAD/GIS files. The authentic interface below shows the Geoportal and thematic-map gallery used as the entry point into that environment.

Large, readable operational views instead of thumbnail software proof
Application screens show how planning, land-use and renewable-energy information can be inspected as mapped objects with contextual panels and layer control.

The same municipal environment reaches into interactive point-cloud inspection
The orthophoto/LiDAR application extends the municipal GIS beyond a conventional 2D viewer. Real project screens show urban point-cloud visualization, clipping and measurement tools directly in the browser-oriented workflow.

Infrastructure and asset information in the same spatial interface
A single map framework can carry detailed municipal asset records, technical descriptions, photographs and other structured information. The value is consistency: departments can work with different subject matter while sharing a common spatial interaction model.

Specialist solar-potential analysis as a delivered application
The accepted software package included an application for solar-panel records and solar-potential analysis. The interface demonstrates roof-level visualization together with monthly and annual values for a selected building.

Municipal software depends on a data model, not only a map viewer
Early implementation work included relational modelling for investor-location attributes and supporting domain tables. Together with later SQL-linked maintenance work, this illustrates the structured-data layer behind the visible Geoportal experience.

Deliver the baseline, transfer routine publishing, stay available for specialist support
The signed handover confirms the 2019–2020 geospatial datasets, four applications and remote training. Later final maintenance reports document server checks, backups, SSL renewals, raster and CAD/GIS support, new data publication and incremental integrations over multiple years.
