Thematic, printed, digital and online maps created from MapSoft-produced and other authorized geospatial sources, with content, scale, format and presentation adapted to the client and intended use.
MapSoft creates thematic maps and imagery-based cartographic products for individual sites, municipalities, corridors and larger territories. Content can combine aerial or satellite imagery, field information, vector datasets, terrain products and thematic databases, with scale, generalization, symbolization and layout adapted to the purpose.
Outputs can be prepared for high-quality print, digital GIS/CAD use or online publication in a wide range of vector and raster formats. Where coverage, currency and rights permit, MapSoft’s existing geospatial data archive can also support thematic-map production and updates.
Despite the growth of digital mapping, printed maps remain important for field use, presentations, public information and technical documentation. Maps can be prepared to client-defined dimensions and for high-resolution printing on different media, including paper, foil, canvas, plexiglass and tarpaulin-type materials.
Digital map production combines imagery, vector, terrain and thematic information and can be updated as new source data become available. Structure and format are adapted to the client’s GIS, CAD, raster or mixed-data workflow.
Cartographic content can also be prepared for web publication, online map services and interactive applications, with scale-dependent styling and data organization suited to efficient digital use.
