Geospatial Engineering & Land Management

Engineering Surveying

Geodetic support that keeps design, construction and verification in one reliable spatial frame.

What we do

Engineering geometry connected to the wider project

MapSoft supports infrastructure and civil-engineering projects from design through construction with control networks, detailed survey, structure survey, setting-out support, as-built verification and engineering-ready spatial data. The work is organized around the geometry and accuracy required by the design discipline rather than a fixed survey method.

GNSS, total-station and levelling observations can be combined with airborne, UAV, mobile and photogrammetric data where that improves coverage or efficiency. The objective is a coherent spatial basis that designers and construction teams can use without reconciling disconnected survey sources.

Where it is used

Built around the project context.

01

Transport corridors

Road and railway design, reconstruction and construction support.

02

Tunnels & bridges

Structure-specific control, geometry and verification.

03

Construction sites

Setting-out support, control and as-built evidence.

04

Engineering base data

Field detail integrated with topographic and 3D project data.

How we work

A controlled path from requirement to delivery.

Engineering surveying combines GNSS, total-station observations, geometric levelling, network adjustment and CAD/GIS production with remote-sensing data where appropriate. Control and detail are tied to the same project coordinate framework so that corridor data, structures and construction geometry remain spatially consistent.

0101 · REQUIREMENTS

Project stage, tolerances, reference system and outputs.

0202 · CONTROL

Establish or verify the spatial reference framework.

0303 · MEASURE

Select field and remote-sensing methods for the task.

0404 · VERIFY

Independent checks, adjustment and consistency review.

0505 · DELIVER

Engineering-ready coordinates, plans, models and reports.

Quality & control

Control built into the engineering process

Accuracy and traceability are managed from the reference framework through field observations and final engineering deliverables.

Reference continuity

  • Control points and project datum verified before detailed work.
  • Network adjustment and coordinate transformation where required.
  • Field observations integrated with the same engineering reference frame.

Engineering verification

  • Redundant or independent checks matched to the required tolerance.
  • Design coordinates and measured/as-built geometry kept traceable.
  • Deliverables reviewed for completeness and downstream CAD/GIS use.
