MapSoft develops geodetic monitoring approaches for tunnels, bridges, embankments, structures and terrain where small changes must be assessed against a stable reference. The monitoring design defines control geometry, observation method, measurement epochs, accuracy requirements and reporting logic before repeat surveys begin.

Where repeat measurements are commissioned, observations are processed and compared between epochs so that apparent movement can be separated from measurement uncertainty. The exact method — total station, levelling, GNSS or a combination — depends on the structure, access and expected deformation pattern.

Monitoring relies on a stable reference network and observation geometry that can be reproduced over time. MapSoft project documentation includes classical terrestrial measurement, GNSS connections, levelling, network adjustment and multi-epoch comparison, with observation design adapted to the monitored structure and required sensitivity.
