Cadastre based on coordinates has been established in the former Yugoslavia counties. In some area, a cadastre established more than 100 years ago is still in official use and a great number of building land changes were not registered into the cadastre or implementation of these changes was just partial. In all these and similar cases it is necessary to carry out a new cadastral survey for urban areas and land consolidation for rural areas. MapSoft has participated in the realization of numerous projects of cadastral surveying in the region.

MapSoft implemented a new approach to cadastral survey while remaining within the framework of existing regulations, maximize the benefits that carry a modern technologies. The approach integrates contemporary geoinformation technologies such as GNSS survey, digital photogrammetry and GIS.
